We appreciate that people don’t always have the time, and have to much going off in their everyday life to be involved in a TRA Committee, but the Federation cover the whole Newark & Sherwood District so with this in mind we have started to do Tenant surgeries.
We hold these in any location that they are needed, be it in a small village, OAP complex or the Town Centre.
What we will do is go out 2-3 days before hand and put up posters to let those living in that area know that we will be coming, we will arrange the venue, and if people have a problem with transport if they let us know in time we will try our best to get them to the meeting, we don’t want anyone to miss out on the chance to voice their opinion.
If there is anything that will affect you as a tenant we will bring you the information as soon as we can.
Although we call them Tenant Surgeries we can cover a variety of issues that will sometimes involve residents of the area, such as lighting, refuse collection, roads, trees etc.
