Who do the federation work with?

The most important people the Federation work with are the Tenants and Residents of the District.

The organisation we work with most closely with is Newark and Sherwood Homes, as most of the issues we bring up are tenant related.

We also work with Notts County Council on issues to do with Roads, Lighting, Public Highways, Road Safety, etc.

The police are another body that we ask all our TRA’S to work with, your Beat Officer or P.C.S.O can be a mine of information and vice a versa. We will work with any Housing Associations because at the end of the day, they are providing homes to people of the District and it is of benefit to everyone to work together.

There are numerous other agencies that we work with far to many to mention them all, but we will list a few: Citizens Advice Centre, Community Volunteer Service, Youth Services, Training Establishments, N.S. College, Furniture Project, Community Development Project etc.
